Barbecue

This rather large mural is painted on the side wall of a popular barbecue restaurant in Ft. Worth, Texas
The artist, Natalie Rahberg has a fine arts degree from The University of Texas. She does paintings and both residential and commercial murals
I came across this picture of Natalie actually painting the mural several years ago. I have often wondered how anyone painted something so large! I really like her work, although I don't know about you but I would have a hard time eating a sliced beef sandwich sitting on that picnic table looking into the eyes of that long horn steer!!

  1. Rather threatening indeed, what are you eating there! But the artist did a great job.

  2. It certainly is a big mural! The steer seems rather accusing in expression.

  3. Great mural with a lot of details. I agree with you about sitting there eating a beef sandwich...

  4. Great mural!
I would have to approach from the other side of the building to avoid that intimidating stare as I ate.
    Have a wonderful week!

  6. It's a super mural Janey, I have often wondered how the street artists create such immense murals, I've watched in awe also ☺

  7. She certainly cannot be afraid of heights in her line of work when she is working on large murals.
