Camping

The last time I was out at our lake
I spied this get up. I kind of like the idea. I am afraid of tent camping, when there are wild animals about (like bears). I would feel pretty secure in this tent, as long as I could raise the ladder.

Today my little Hannah flies into a nearby airport.....we don't have one. Oh yes, she will be accompanied by her parents. If I am not around for a couple of days...you will know why ...Janey

  1. When our kids were small we had a small tent camper that I loved which we used for camping. Much prefer ours to the one in your photo. Wish we still had it because I enjoyed it so much. Turns out, tho. the family admitted years later, that my feelings were not shared by the rest of them! Too funny!

  2. I must admit to preferring a nice comfy bed to sleep in these days - enjoy your time with little Hannah

  3. I think my days of camping in a small two man tent are over. The thought of having to crawl out of a sleeping bag to the toilet are just too much these days. As for trying to climb down a ladder in the middle of the night.........forget it!

  6. I only had a camping holiday with a friend when I was 16 years old and once in a hired tent in France with the children. In Australia in the bush with SC was very adventurous. But I prefer a real bed in a home or hotel now.
