My New Role

I have been missing from my blog for over a week now, but for good reason. I have been in Chicago meeting my very first grandchild. Hannah Jane. I even got the chance to take her to a nearby park. I am in love!

    I enlarged the photo to get a good look, and I'm glad that I did. She is gorgeous, and you are going to have so much fun. I have a feeling that you will be making quite a few trips to Chicago...not a bad city to visit either! I sowed my wild oats there and still love the city, esp. the Art Institute. When you go there, genuflect in front of the Chagall windows for me!!

    Oh, she is adorable and very beautiful. She looks so content and smiling in your arms. That must be a great feeling to have a granddaughter!

    She is precious and I know quite well that feeling. As a crazy friend once told me in jest... having grandchildren makes you glad that you did not eat your young. Enjoy her!
