This was a photo of the pretty tree, just off the deck of our rental. Taken in the Spring, before we left for Colorado.
Back in the rental....this is the same tree. It is not so pretty anymore. I thought surely it would have pretty Fall color, but it is just sort of rusty and dead looking. I hope it is not an omen!
I have been posting on my blog for almost three years now. It has been a daily endeavor and I have enjoyed it so much. We are back in Texas now....where life isn't quite as interesting. We are spending our days meeting with our builders and sub contractors....and doing mundane things like dental and medical checkups
So, I have decided that I will only post once a week this winter (so that I won't bore you) . Check this blog every Monday please. I promise to post "something".....and if I read your blog...I will continue to do so.
Thanks to my devoted (few) followers, especially those that take the time to leave a comment. I consider you all my friends! Janey
I always enjoy your blog, never a dull moment, but I understand you have other things on your mind now. Keep going with your home!
ReplyDeleteYou will be busy. Would be fun to see you document the progress of your new home. We won't forget you, esp if you visit us regularly!! :>) Posting every day, esp. during the winter months can challenge the imagination, so I understand perfectly!!
ReplyDeleteI just accidentally deleted your comment on my post; makes me so mad when I do that!!
ReplyDeletei'll be here every time you post! :)
ReplyDeletethis is the first time i've been to this site and am glad i have.
ReplyDeleteyou run a super awesome blog.
dropping by via texwisgirl to say hi!
Oh boo! I enjoy your daily post. It's the first thing I read at work! Can't wait to see the progress of the house!
ReplyDeleteI like the two trees you are showing and the comparison is interesting.
ReplyDeletePosting once a week sounds like a great compromise to me.
Courage with your other projects,
anni
Spring is definitely this tree's best moment :) I can only imagine the endeavour of building a new house from scratch Janey..ours was an older house that we've renovated over the years, and this last kitchen reno was a nightmare..you'll have to let me know what you think tomorrow. Will check in with you on Mondays from now on..good luck with the build.
ReplyDeleteI hate when summer is over! I will be stopping by in Monday's, and I know what you mean about blogging. I don't post as much as I used to.
ReplyDeleteNOOOOOO, what will I read first thing in the morning and get ideas for my walk. Lots of fun things happen in Texas in the winter. Love you
