This little coin operated kiddie carousel is out in front of one of the businesses in our little mountain town.
. I am not sure if the owner knows how "vintage" it actually is. He might just make more money by selling it, than collecting the quarter he gets for a ride. I saw a very similar one on Ebay for $2,000!
My own childen were interested as tots but it really was too tame for them as they got older. It certainly is vintage.

ReplyDeleteAnd it features the holy trinity: Horse, Ass and elephuck. Seriously, what is that creature? It's half elephant half duck. When my son was four, he called it an elephuck.
