Survivor

Found broken, and scarred in the ( 9/11 attacks) rubble of what were the World Trade Centers, was little pear tree . Re-planted in the Bronx and nursed back to health...it been has returned to stand beside the memorial. It is a tree that symbolizes our country's resilience.

When I was there it had not been labeled...but there was no mistaking which tree it was..with the crowds wanting to be photographed beside it.
