Flamingo Hill

Spending the summer here is not for the faint of heart. There is always something going on....and if there isn't, someone will come up with something. On Friday night we were invited to a potluck on Laura and Joe's beautiful deck (Flamingo Hill).

 
It is a wonderful deck on the hill beside their cabin with a view to the north....but the skies opened up as soon as we arrived.
 
Thankfully Laura had also set up tables in their garage. Not, exactly the same setting, but when you have good food and good friends...it really doesn't matter where you are.

    Sad you couldn't sit outside, but you know the views there, so better to enjoy the diner inside.

    Looks like there was plenty of guests having a good time regardless of the weather.
