Chamber Music

The little town that we spend the summer in, high in the San Juan mountain range of Colorado is tiny. The last census, that I saw, had the full time population at three hundred and ninety one people. Not a place that you would expect to have a Chamber Music Series. but we do.
For thirty five years, now this little town, with the help of businesses, ticket sales and underwriters have hosted some very professional, world renowned musicians. Last night we enjoyed The Presidio Saxophone Quartet from Tucson, Arizona. I never knew that there were so many types of saxophones, or that they could make so many beautiful sounds. It was a most enjoyable evening.

The underwriters take turns hosting an after party, where you can have  a glass of wine, a snack and meet the musicians.
