Exercise

No, I did not make a resolution to exercise more....but I have been doing just that.
Winter weather has finally arrived here (in north Texas), and it is a bit too cold to walk outside in the mornings. I find that if I don't exercise before 9:am, I get busy with my day, and just don't do it. So, the solution has been our neighborhood mall. They kindly open the doors at 7am, for walkers despite the fact that the shops don't open until 10. I have walked there three times this week...and as you can see, there isn't exactly a crowd. Another nice gesture... they play music from the fifties and sixties over the sound system and that music is  fun to walk to. Like: Wake Up A Little Susie! Does your mall open early for walkers? Just wondering...Have a wonderful day. I am meeting my four sisters downtown for lunch.

  3. The mall in Cherry Creek, Denver opens early for people who want to exercise. I usually just like to bundle up and be outdoors. Of course, where I live - no malls! The music would be a big plus!

  4. I know of some here that do that. I remember a mall in northern Ontario that had people walking through at six thirty in the morning when everything was still shut down.

  5. That sounds an excellent idea - could do with a mall like that here to avoid all of the rain falling at the moement.
