Friends of ours invited us for dinner the other night. I was looking forward to it because, having sold their home in suburbia, they now live in a high rise building in town. Above is their view from the twelfth floor, which was even prettier after dark. That is actually not a view of downtown Houston. Their condo is on the west side of the building. You are looking at a section of town referred to as the Galleria area. It was a cloudy day, but I was wondering how hot the afternoon summer sun would be, coming through all of the glass.?
How do you feel about condo living? I am not sure that I am ready to give up my yard? Then again...it does appeal to me...
I cannot wait to downsize...very tired of home ownership. But the thought of it is overwhelming. Great view, and I'd LOVE to live in a unit like that!
ReplyDeletenot for me. but i think it can be a convenient way to live.
ReplyDeleteGreat view! Do you live in Houston? My husband had his spine injury rehab there at T.I.R.R and it was a wonderful place. We were there for 60 days and I lived in a place across from the astro dome.
ReplyDeleteYes, Cherie I do... originally from North Texas...Sherman. We are proud of T.I.R.R..
Deletehere in Houston.
Would you move? I know some relatives who did indeed on top of a appartment building. The view is spectactluar.
ReplyDeleteSometimes when I'm trying to keep control of my 'jungle' I think how nice it would be to have all that free time, but when I see what I looks like when I've finished , well that's another story.
ReplyDeleteJaney could you do me a favour and let Cheri know that I don't seem to be able to comment on her blog anymore, every time I try it won't let mr through. She visits me and I can't reciprocate.
I will be happy to....and you look so harmless :)
