The Walnut Room

The tree in the Walnut Room. A famous old dining room in the large Marshall Fields Department store (Chicago) which is now Macy's. The name change of the store upset a lot of people. Most people still refer to it as Marshall Fields. Tom and I actually didn't have lunch here. We had a cup of soup at the corner bakery.

so that we would have room for ice cream sundaes at Ghirardelli's. Fun day!
