Last night was a Christmas dinner party of an organization that I have mentioned before. Several ladies, myself included, have a one on one relationship with a senior citizen.
We have six dinner parties a year in our homes, and pamper our senior friend, most who are widows living alone . We also call them occasionally, to check on them, and send them greeting cards on holidays.
This is my friend Rita who is 87 years young, and arrived in the U.S. as a war bride from Italy in 1945.
I feel sure you would enjoy having Rita for a friend as much as I do!
She looks very pretty at her age! She must be very small, as you are rather small to us. The christmas decorations and the table are beautiful.
