One Year Ago

One Year ago today, I was in the Netherlands. Landed there with my husband and forty of my best friends. We had sailed up the Rhine on A River Cruise. If you ever get the chance to go to The Netherlands...go in very late April or early May.....and don't miss The Keukenhof Gardens
They are beyond your wildest dreams
Tulips in every color
Yes, even black

The Netherlands also has

Windmills
Delft Pottery

Cheese

serene canals with  quaint gabled row houses...and more museums than you've have ever seen!

but these are their real National Jewels
SC and Marianne  (husband and wife)
 both bloggers
who were nice enough to welcome us to their country, and design (and lead us) on a wonderful walking tour of Amsterdam

Thank you Marianne and SC

  5. Oh Janey, that's so nice of you, we enjoyed you visit very much too. Love the photo's you made, the black tulips I haven't seen here yet. Yesterday we drove along the IJ-lake in Amsterdam and we saw your boat again along the quay behind the Central Station. We always call it Janey's boat!
