A Pink Fence

There is a deli that my husband and I go to often to get a cup of soup for lunch. It is a popular spot, so there usually isn't a space in the parking lot. Therefore we find ourselves parking in front of this pink fence (or wall) a lot. I noticed the other day that it had a history plaque on it.
I would show you the info on the plaque, but I found it not terribly interesting. I thought those state historical plagues were usually put on things 100 years old or so. This one mentioned that is wall was built by two guys who built  this apartment building (behind the wall), in 1942. Maybe I had better not keep parking there much longer....or they may be putting a plaque on me!!

  1. I hardly think you are a relic yet.
Sounds like they wanted some say so in their plaque for future generations.

  2. But who knows what notable event might have happened there in 1942...besides two guys building a wall. ;-)

  3. Neither you nor the fence are relics!

  4. A bit curious... seems rather mundane as a plaque topic.

  5. It is a little odd about the plaque. I'm curious as to the shade of the fence but I like that it has that lovely row of holly bushes under it.

  6. Curious as to why they went to the trouble of putting a plaque on that wall.

  7. Interesting plaque! A historical event to make a plaque for. I don't like that wall either, looks more like a prisonwall.
