Oops!

We had a beautifuland safe hike up Cuba Gulch, as mentioned on the previous blog,
but coming back down was a different story. One of our hikers, who was in the car alone, pulled to the right to miss a large bump in the road, and his front right tire went off the side.
The driver of the white car had some sort of cable, and the men tried to get him back on the road. It doesn't look like much of a drop off, but it is at least a fifteen foot drop on the other side of the bushes. They were not able to get him back on the road. We took him in to town (cell phones don't work in this remote area). Sadly, it cost him $900 for a tow, but thankfully no one was hurt. He said the car probably wasn't work that much, but that it has sentimental value.
