Then and Now

One of my favorite works of art at the art show Saturday night was this then and now photography.

The San Juan is a local soda fountain and ice cream store that has been in existence sine the 1870's.They also sell antiques and gifts.  Back in the 1870's  it was a drug store. The photographer took a present day photograph  (on the left) and merged it with one from yesteryear .

  1. It's very simple to find out any matter on net as compared to books, as I found this post at this site.

  2. interesting indeed.. unfortunately for me hard to apply because my pictures only go back a few years, not 100dreds !

  3. That is pretty cool. Then and now photography could really catch on. As long as they stick to using locations and not people ha!

  4. Yup, that had me a little confused there for a minute Janey :)
