ReplyDeleteNothing Gold Can Stay
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf,
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay.
Robert Frost
it is just gorgeous. i keep seeing the news reports of what is going on in your part-time state. it just makes me heart sick.
ReplyDeletein the meantime, we were still 97 here yesterday and dry as a bone.
Oh, I like that time of the year to see the change of colours. The trees become so beautiful in the Indian summer.

ReplyDeleteLove the autumn colours Janey and love even more that there is a rebel tree every now and then :)
