Yesterday we went over the mountain to a play at the Creede Rep Theater with another couple. About half way is this waterfall. I have visited two other falls in this state and this is my favorite.....and I will tell you why.
The other two falls are privately owned.. As you approach them, there are billboards....parking lots where you have to pay, entrance fees and souvenir shops. This falls is just out in nature. The only sign is a small one on the nearby road saying North Clear Creek Falls with an arrow on it. There is a free parking lot, no crowds, no entrance fee and just a fence to protect you from falling, near the falls. If you are ever in our part of the the state don't miss it!
