We headed for Texas yesterday (for the winter). I have spent the whole summer trying to get a picture of one of the few moose that we have in the area. Our car was loaded to the gills. After all it's Oct...and we have been here since mid May. Just in case...I put my little camera on the console. Just over the pass...along about the entrance to Oleo Ranch (the poor man's spread) There he was running down the middle of the hwy!

I know it's not the best shot. He was moving and so was I!
