We have a wonderful little museum here in Lake City. Yesterday they had a branding demonstration. Although I think branding is cruel...It was interesting to see the different manners in which it is done. They had the old metal pot on the campfire method, a propane powered contraption and even an electric one. Real cowboys from a local ranch...which was the real treat!
It makes me a bit squeamish but how interesting... I would have loved to see the real cowboys!
