Corn

Worth waiting for! Olathe corn grown in an area that would be desert today, if it weren't for the building of the Gunnison Tunnel in 1909

Thousands (66,000 to be exact) of acres in western Colorado benefited from the building of this tunnel that re-directed water from the Gunnison River.

The warm days, cool nights, good soil (and much needed water) make for some of the sweetest most loved corn in the U.S.!
