I love that Fort Worth has saved so many of it's old buildings.
This old Fire station (one block from the courthouse) built in 1907, and in operation until 1980, now serves as a small "free" museum . You can walk through and view exhibits tracing 150 years of the history of Fort Worth.
We both are in the "fire station" mood today!
ReplyDeleteIt always pleases me when communities honor their past. This looks like a well-maintained and important historical building!
ReplyDeleteLooks like it would be a fascinating place to visit!
ReplyDeleteoh, so cute!
ReplyDeleteI love it too and that's why Ft. Worth is on my list of to-go-to cities in the near future. I already have a long list of places I just gotta see! And this old firehouse was actually already on that list!
