A Block Party

My daughter and family live in a fun neighborhood in Austin. Most of their neighbors are young professionals with children, and they get together occasionally for block parties. My daughter decided she would have the Halloween Party.
So she hand delivered  the invitations to her neighbors

We put tables in the driveway...and picked up a lot of barbecue...In Texas ya gotta have barbecue!
Cupcakes  decorated
Crafts for the kids
pumpkins for kicking

chalk for drawing
 apples for bobbing

and of course a pinata in a tree

 little ones in costumes
and big people too


Grandparents as bartenders

then came the whole crew!
Hmmm for once they didn't eat all of the guacamole, and I am wondering why?
