Linda and her antiques
Since their are so many vendors under one roof, they have a central cashier. Each vendor is supposed to work as cashier once every six weeks or so, but Linda usually pays someone to work for her.
Business is good so she rented second stall.
I love these kind of places and could spend all day looking through things like this.
Do you have antique malls where you live?

Yes they are fun to browse around. I Amsterdam we have a antique hall like these with many little shops in it.
ReplyDeleteWe are overrun with antique shops and secondhand stores, all which are interesting to browse and photograph. Your friend has a large inventory, and I'm interesting in her china.
ReplyDeleteYes, I could stay all day browsing, too.
ReplyDeleteLinda's place looks very interesting to visit. We tend to have very large old houses with many rooms filled by different antique dealers so I think that is probably a similar idea.
ReplyDeleteThere's an antique centre here that operates under the same principles- several vendors, one cash.
ReplyDeleteNo antique stores in the mountains but several large establishments on Broadway in Denver. I love Linda's shop - her displays are enticing!
ReplyDeleteDearest Janey,
ReplyDeleteNot so much in the place where we live, at least not for finding nice and elegant things. But within an hour driving distance you find them and further away even more so.
It is fun for browsing through and pondering what story can be told...
Hugs,
Mariette
We do have lots of those kind of centres and shops. Browsing around them is a wonderful way to spend a few hours.
ReplyDeleteglad business is good!
ReplyDeleteOn me too Janey, I love a regular look around an antique shop. Love the history of old things :)
