As some of you know, Tom and I have been taking fun courses at our local college. Texas Christian University. My first class this semester is on journaling, and it seems like it is going to be a wonderful choice. Then I got to thinking about it. I barely find time to Blog...oh me, maybe I should have signed up for time management.
Journaling is supposed to be very beneficial for personal development, it enhances intuition, creativity, reduces stress, improves writing skills....and so on and so on.
So, I am going to give it a try. I will just have to give up sleeping....or maybe eating. No that is not going to happen.
Do you journal? Crazy question for all of my blogging friends. I think I know the answer..
nope. gave it up years ago. finally burned my journals from when i was 13 years old to in my 30s.
ReplyDeleteOh no Teresa. Surely they didn't need to be burned? Someone in class wrote journals during her divorce though and said she burned them and threw the ashes in the river...Said it was very healing.I am not sure how you are supposed to write exactly how you feel. I would be afraid my journal would fall into the wrong hands? I still have a lot of questions.
DeleteI have never had a journal, but I still remember many things of the past. I only make journal on holidays to remember the names of the places we visited
ReplyDeleteNo, I don't.
ReplyDeleteI try and keep a journal but it isn't easy. It does help me to remember what I have done. I find it difficult to be totally honest about others though in case it is read by someone else as it is for my eyes only.
ReplyDeleteI remember writing diaries when I was a teenager Janey, have no idea what happened to them 😊 I seriously wouldn't have the time now.. good luck with the journaling, what course did your husband choose?
