This and that

My daughter in North Carolina has two active little girls that love being outside.

She lives in  condo complex where they only have a small courtyard.
There is grassy area that she must maintain. She is a busy professional and single Mom and finding time to mow these clumps of weeds was a chore.
So she had a soft artificial grass installed. The girls love it...it is such a nice area for them to play.
She has a comfortable seating area at the other end. The umbrella can swivel so if the girls need some shade.
As for me, I am progressing nicely even walking a mile every morning...resting occasionally when I spot a place to sit down.
Postoperative appointment tomorrow where stitches come out! Yeah!

  1. Dearest Janey,
Very clever solution to have the artificial grass installed.
My best friend Ellie in The Netherlands has that done right away to their new home and it is wonderful for the five grandchildren to play on and easy for her to maintain due to her back problems.
Lovely photo of you and you sure look forward to those stitches coming out. Healing goes slowly and with patience but time is passing rather quick, at least here it does.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  4. Great news on your progress. Your daughter had a good idea putting in that turf. I have a friend who just had some put in the small garden at her condo. It looks great.

  7. Wow... what a great idea - artificial grass! We may have to resort to that because of all the lovely brown spots that the doggies cause. Glad you are doing better. Love your hat. Stay healthy!
