The Morning Glow
If you have ever been a guest at our mountain home you have probably been encouraged to be up early (around 6:30) to see T Mountain turn red when the morning sun hits it from the east. It looks a bit hazy from the smoke this morning though. There is a forest fire south of Durango and the wind is blowing this way. By 4wheel drive (over the mtn) it is only 60 mi. to Durango...but over 173 miles by regular car. See map. We are A.

Great view with the mountains.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,

That is a glorious sight indeed Janey, what a way to begin each new day!
ReplyDeleteIt is a lovely sight and a very clear photo despite the smoke.
ReplyDeletewow, that is SO impressive!
ReplyDeleteI am glad it is just the morning sun and no bushfires. What a view every morning.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty.
ReplyDeleteDearest Janey,
ReplyDeleteThat is a spectacular view; not to be missed!
It is worth it for rising early.
Yes, we're so used to such long winding travels in the mountains where we worked in India, in Indonesia and also in Mexico. Birds eye view is nothing compared to our journey....
Hugs,
