There was a gentle breeze blowing through the Aspen trees ....and it was pretty cool. I think Fall is in the air.
We came alongside a pond
I then spotted the dam. Those clever beavers had dammed up a very small stream and made this nice little pond
Only a little trickle of water was getting through on the other side.
We have had a beautiful weekend here in the mountains. I hope that you have too.
my goodness, that's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteCompromise is good.. how wonderful if there could be more of it in the wider world situation right now! Looks like an excellent walk/drive and what luck to spot the beaver dam, have only ever read about them.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see Beavers, and those blue sky reflection in the pool are just lovely.
ReplyDeleteHow interesting to find that dam.
ReplyDeleteA good compromise. If you go back to the pond at dusk, you'll see the busy beavers. We have some ponds near our house. I've only seen the beavers early in the morning or at dusk.
ReplyDeleteNow I want to go back...So that I can photograph the beaver! Actually saw one walking on the dirt road along Henson Creek once.
DeleteYou are a nice couple compromising the tour. Those beavers are real builders, what a dam they made.
ReplyDeleteGood photographer eyes!
