Baking

Wow, it is busy around here! Although, I feel sure it is just as busy around your house.
When my girls were growing up, we had the tradition of baking and decorating Christmas sugar cookies. So, I have been  busy baking today.
They are all finished  now, and in the freezer. Our little Hannah will be here for Christmas, and we will thaw them and decorate with colored icing and sprinkles. Sure wish little Abigail could be here too.
Do you have any  family traditions this time of year?

    My mother baked lots of cookies this time of year, including sugar cookies.

    I picked up some cookies on the spur of the moment at a bake sale today and liked them- a light dough like this, with cranberries and white chocolate chunks. They were delicious.

    I haven't baked for ages and cookies I even have never baked myseld. You are a busy bee.

    We do indeed Janey and guess what! This one is something we have in common and in fact that is what my sisters and daughter have been doing all day today :) I can't even think how many shortbread cookies disappeared before they had time to even cool down :)
