It was just this past Spring that the city tore up our street to install new water lines. Seems now they are putting in new curbs and gutters....followed who knows when by street re-paving. Mind you I am not complaining.
We have a sunny pleasant day at the moment, but a front is arriving later today bringing with it rain, ice and possible snow. Brrr!

Work never really ends for such crews!
ReplyDeleteSend any unwanted snow to CO - we need it!
ReplyDeleteThat is nice to renew the street. We had it done last summer and it makes a lot of discomfort, but the street looks as new now, ith new clean pavements and no pits anymore.
ReplyDeleteMessy while it's happening but hopefully worth it when finished Janey.. keep warm when that cold weather hits town ☺
ReplyDeleteDearest Janey,
ReplyDeleteJust last week we noticed a sudden leak from the main water pipe which is next to the road. So they had to come and dig up for finding the leak, after our street got disconnected first.
They repaired it but our lawn and driveway still are a muddy mess.
One never knows what's next!
Hugs,
Mariette
