It is a full service resort on acres and acres of gently rolling landscape, where a family can stay in cabins or at the five star lodge.
There are a host of things to do, like: zip lining, fossil hunting, basketball and tennis , swimming, and of course hay rides and trail rides (on real horses).
We just stopped for lunch in the large dining room of the main lodge.
The food was delicious! and view.... was what you would expect when looking out the window at TEXAS.

That lodge looks great, I like those rooms with higs ceilings and the Texan landscape is just as I imagined, wide views.
ReplyDeleteThose toy horses are not common sights and i would have loved them for my children and grandkids years ago! Certainly a very nice "oasis."
ReplyDeleteoh, that looks awesome - that last shot...
ReplyDeleteHi Janey, This looks like a lovely place for lunch. I read through some of your summer posts so I could determine where you spend your CO time - I believe in Creede? We had lots of TX spring breakers here in Breckenridge a week ago! Starting tomorrow for the two weeks, we'll have grandchildren with us to ski. After that, the town will be quiet again until the summer tourist season. I'm enjoying the wide open spaces of TX on your current posts!
ReplyDeleteHi Janey,
