The glass company finally came to repair our front door.
We have been having to go in and out our kitchen door for over a month now.
The glass shattered after a severe cold front we had here in Texas.
The finished product. It has always been a wavy glass to afford a bit of privacy. Sure is going to be nice to use the door again. Maybe I will just go buy a new Spring wreath. Oh I forgot. My car is in the shop having the side mirror repaired
Do you ever have a time where everything seems to break?
Oh yes, these little things all seem to happen at once. That is crazy that the window shattered from that cold snap.
ReplyDeleteThe workmen said it was because our door is metal. The glass didn’t have room when the metal reacted to the extreme cold and then warmed up. He said he didn’t put it in as tightly as the manufacturer this time so it will have room when the door shrinks and expands.
DeleteDearest Janey,
ReplyDeleteGlad you finally got that professionally replaced and it looks nice.
Indeed, if one thing breaks, wait for the sequence of things...
Hugs,
Mariette
Hopefully that's the last time it happens.
ReplyDeleteGlad is has been repaired now!
ReplyDeleteCertainly do Janey.. and then there are light bulbs, one goes then two or three more, it's Murphy's Law 😀
