Fall is such a welcomed season here in Texas. We are all hoping to feel a cool breeze now and then.
Our leaves are actually getting the message. Proof positive is this unusually colored leaf that Tom and I found on one of our walks.
It is no surprise to see elaborate displays on what we call billionaires row. (not exaggerating either).
They even decorated by the guard shack,
and these ghoulish things were hanging from the trees down their private road.
The Halloween decorations get more and more elaborate every year,
It's not a festival I celebrate but the grandchildren love it.
ReplyDeleteOh my...the decorations are amazing! And I love that card!!! Love love love it!
ReplyDeleteDearest Janey,
ReplyDeleteNothing creepy for us here; we never adopted the Halloween cult.
So much money is being wasted and HUGE piles of garbage being created annually and China is laughing with their sales.
This time of the year is perfect for being cozy indoors with a warm soup or other heart-warming meal.
We look forward to see the tree crew come in early next week, as they promised... after a loooooooong wait since April due to rain and more rain.
Hugs,
Mariette
Oh my gosh, that card is fantastic. And, I love that veggie idea. Perfect. I saw some pretty elaborate decorations today too.
ReplyDeleteHalloween is not a dutch item here. There are some people who try to introduce it but we have not grown up with it.
