Although I was wrong, seems it was a Lime Kiln.
After having two homes for a number of years, one in Texas the other in Colorado, we have simplified our lives. Coming to you from only Texas now, but not really. We are world travelers…so stay with me.

ReplyDeleteOne doesn't often see them in one piece. I can think of an area near my childhood home that had one in operation back in the 19th century, but was long gone.
