A Celebration

It seems all I do is party! Which, is not entirely true. Like today, I am doing laundry and running errands....but this week was the end of our semester at the university. We had a celebration for the 100+ students at a famous Mexican restaurant in town. I use that term students loosely. We are all over 50 yrs old and they call us the Silver Frogs.
It looks like a tiny place, but over the years it has spread down the entire block..

with patios, gardens and beautiful fountains. It is near our famous stockyards, and you will find  a long  line of customers, many of them tourists, waiting to get in.

We had a beautiful party room reserved, since it was threatening rain.

Despite the weather there was a good turnout.

Tom and I had a great time, learned a lot , met some new people, and will sign up again in the Fall...Janey

* On an escapade, and yes I am afraid it may include a party or two. See you on Friday...Janey

  3. So nice you had a dinner at the end of the course, that sounds so nice, was it organized by the university or did you do it yourself with the other students?
