An Entry

Today I am sharing a photo of an entrance to a home that caught my eye  on my daily walk.
Not sure if it was the colorful Trumpet Vine crowning the top, or perhaps the large lanterns
flanking the stone arch that grabbed my eye. What I do know, is it made me wonder what was behind that door?

  3. Is this to a home or where? Lanterns definitely add that certain distinction and that vine makes it all the more lovely, doesn't it. Thanks for showing us, Janey, and welcome to Scribble Picnic! I love that the theme go you out there, like Mary's piece, looking around with fresh eyes for the right one.

  4. Oh, i just noticed you are in Coorado too! Whee! So, are you in the little mountain town now or that city and which one? If you are up this way in Fort Collins, we should go do tea sometime. It would be fun to meet. :) A cheese biscuit and a converstation on art and creativity sounds good, doesn't it. We do go down to Denver now and then too...to our fave tea shop there.

  9. Jane, beautiful entryway - like you I wonder who lives there. I have a trumpet vine too - over my arbor, may hang some lanterns there now you have shown this. Glad you found something to share with us at the 'picnic'.

you will love visiting the West Country if you've not been before - a lot different from Texas or Colorado!
