Or friends, Betty and Tony invited us over for hamburgers this week.
This is their view looking south. As you can see the weather was threatening,
but we sat out on the deck for a drink before dinner anyway. How is this for poor photography? Tony is waving and hiding Tom's face and Betty's face is camouflaged by a pink petunia.Betty hasn't plated her flower garden yet, but as you can see everything must be fenced off, because of the deer.
Even the flowers on the porch have a cage over them.
They also have a fierce mountain dog... Skippy
and frisky Landry, who has to be tied to the porch, since he tends to run away.
We ate inside due to the threatening weather. I sure like their dishes with the fish on them.
We ended the evening with brownie pie (that I made) with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Fresh mountain air, friends and a couple pups---nice.
ReplyDeleteThe dogs look like cuties, and that view is amazing!
ReplyDeleteThe pie looks very tempting!
Fun times in the mountains! And good eating, too!
ReplyDeleteHad to laugh about your deck photo, well done. I see you have a good time there.
ReplyDeleteI, too, was amused by your technical photo skills that you illustrated with the deck photo :) You made up for it with the nummy dessert.
