I mentioned on my previous blog, that we had our little town's annual art show displaying various types of art, all by local artists.
We are so happy to have several talented artists call this place home (at least in the summer).

We actually have one of her paintings that we acquired at a charity auction.
This was our darling, and only, little marina at the north end of our lake. This piece of property was purchased by someone who did away with the marina. It was moved by a large truck into town, and was made into a cabin. The new owner built a rather large...not too attractive house...and decided he didn't like it around here sold and left. Grrr . So,I had to have this little painting. So many fond memories here.
When I went to Jane's website, I noticed the painting above of another cabin in town, under commissions, so I called her to paint our cabin as a surprise anniversary gift for my husband.....no he doesn't read my blog.
