It is eye catching
if not a bit whimsical...
the house on the hill.... So much so that you will see tourist stopping by to take a picture. Designed and built by the home owner himself...along with occasional help from family and friends....it is still a work in progress. I can't remember when he started it...but at that time I did blog about it. Christian, a local, is a carpenter by trade and has a wife and four little kids at last count. I am hoping to get them to agree to be on the local home tour this August. Keep your fingers crossed.
Update on The Camino Walk
Eirik and Ernie have completed day two. They added a couple of extra miles when they accidentlly wandered off course.

Or quirky 😀 it is certainly an eye catching curious piece of architecture! I see you're back in Colorado Janey, looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I do hope it works out! What fun it would be to tour that home! Probably not a lot of fun to roof it. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt certainly does look like something that's gradually coming into itself.
ReplyDeleteWhat a huge project to built it all out of wood! I hope you can realise an inside tour. But it will take some time yet I am afraid...
